Columbus OH, Bernie's Distillery on Monday, August 02, 2010
Cesspool is playing Bernie’s Distillery, arguably Columbus’s most famous dive. One time, a turd pipe burst over the sound guy and shorted out the mixer, rendering Bernie’s out of commission for months while they tried to find a replacement sound guy and mixer. We hope our performance will have a similar outcome, and if necessary, we’ll bring our own turds.
You should also bring your own turds to this show, because this will be one hell of a show, especially since Columbus is the hometown of one of the band members (Alex), and hometown shows are always a cut above the rest. After the show, we’ll be taking everyone to some local Columbus good eats and there will probably be an impromptu after party.
Another reason to come is that we’ll be playing with Creatures, a guitar/drum duo from the area, and they’re excellent. Cesspool always seems to end up playing with duos, but they always end up being great, and Creatures will be no exception.
