First Ever Gig in NYC
Ladies and gentlemen, we have scheduled our NY debut! We will play our first show in New York on Wednesday, February 17, at Otto’s Shrunken Head in Manhattan, at 10:00 PM.
Here are some things that you are guaranteed to see at the show:
- Classic oldies being humiliated and then brutally murdered, only to rise again as disgusting funhouse reflections of their former selves.
- Lovely four-part harmonies.
- Punk energy. There is no stage at Otto’s and the atmosphere should resemble that of a brain-destroying house party.
- So many awesome hooks that you’ll think we were Joe Louis.
- Several songs being played for the first time ever.
- More dissonance than your sheltered ass can handle.
- Our first show as a quartet: just Abe and Alex and Jared and myself. Our arrangements are tight and our interpersonal chemistry is at an all-time high.
- Costumes. I’m guessing that Jared’s will be straightforward, Alex’s will be funny, Abe’s will be sad, and mine will be confrontational.
- There’s a 50% chance that Alex and I will punch each other.
- We will give you some free shit that you can take home. Free shit!
The show itself is free, and after the show you can booze it up with the band at my apartment. So it’s a free show with free stuff and you get free liquor. What else do you want on a Wednesday?
Come celebrate our arrival in New York. We’d love to see you there,
